Our client is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer for their office based in Sheffield. The Graduate Structural Engineer will be working for a well-known consultancy, which operates within the Civil, Structural and Geotechnical Engineering sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Structural Engineer to join a fast-growing company to work on a range of projects within a Multi-Disciplinary Environment.
The Graduate Structural Engineer will be working on large contracts as well as structural reports, calculations, and designs. They will assist in the design work on projects and tasks, with moderate supervision, to ensure the tasks are delivered as briefed and will be given the opportunity for career development and chartership training.
Position Overview:- Produce design calculations
- Preparation of sketch plans, working drawings, specifications, and reports
- Assist with planning site investigation works
- Preparing feasibility studies and providing design advice
- Development and use of computer-based systems to improve efficiency
- Undertake site inspection and attend site meetings
- Produce designs, assessments, and calculations in accordance with quality procedures
