We are currently recruiting for a talented Architect with over 2 years' post-qualification experience to join an award-winning AJ Top 100 architectural practice based in Fordingbridge.
With studios across the UK, our client combines national expertise with strong local knowledge and works across an exciting and varied portfolio.
The Fordingbridge studio has particular experience across Residential, Historic & Conservation, Hotels & Hospitality, Community and Care & Senior Living projects, with project values typically ranging from £2m - £40m.
The successful Architect will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects, with a particular focus on residential schemes currently.
Based from a purpose-built studio on the edge of the New Forest, the Fordingbridge team currently consists of around 30 staff, with a long-term growth plan in place.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Architect with around 3 years' experience to join an established and collaborative team, taking responsibility across a range of RIBA stages while working alongside experienced Architects, Technologists and Designers.
The ideal Architect will have experience working on high-rise residential projects and/or residential masterplanning schemes, although this is not essential.
Our client is particularly interested in Architects who have a strong understanding of residential design, good technical knowledge and confidence using Revit, with the opportunity to develop their project-running and client-facing experience within an established practice.

- Working in Fordingbridge from a purpose-built studio on the edge of the New Forest

- Contributing to the successful delivery of projects to a high standard, within agreed timescales and to budget
- Working collaboratively with Architects, Technologists, Designers and Consultants across the Fordingbridge studio and wider practice
- Architect Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience within an architectural practice
- ARB registered Architect
- Strong proficiency in Revit is essential
- Good technical knowledge and understanding of construction
- Experience working on Residential projects
- High-rise Residential experience would be highly advantageous
- Experience working on Residential Masterplanning schemes would be highly advantageous
- Good communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider design team
- Confident and proactive approach to project delivery
- Keen to develop professionally and take on increasing levels of responsibility
- Located within a commutable distance of Fordingbridge
