Position: Junior Welder / Fabricator
Location: Talaton, Exeter
Salary: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour

The Junior Welder / Fabricator position is required in Talaton, Exeter for our client, a manufacturing business specialising in metal fabrication. The successful candidate will work as part of a small workshop team carrying out MIG and TIG welding, preparing tube sections and supporting the fabrication of components using workshop machinery.
Junior Welder / Fabricator Job Overview
Carry out MIG and TIG welding on fabricated metal components
Cut and deburr tube sections to the required specifications
Operate a CNC bending machine as part of the fabrication process
Work with N plates and other fabricated components
Read and follow basic technical information and measurements where required
Maintain a high standard of workmanship and ensure components are produced accurately
Work safely and maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
Junior Welder / Fabricator Job Requirements
Experience with MIG and TIG welding
Previous experience within a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment
Ability to cut and deburr tube sections accurately
Experience using workshop machinery, ideally including CNC bending equipment
Good practical and mechanical aptitude
Junior candidates with a relevant background within the industry will be considered
Experienced welders / fabricators are also encouraged to apply
Exhaust fabrication experience would be advantageous
Junior Welder / Fabricator Salary & Benefits
Salary: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour, dependent on experience
Working hours: 07:00 - 15:30, Monday to Friday
Overtime: Available occasionally at time and a half, but not guaranteed
