Due to growth, our client, a well-established freight forwarding company, are actively seeking a skilled FCL Imports professional to join their Ocean freight team. In this role, you will take full ownership of full-container-load shipments, ensuring a seamless process from origin to final destination.
Job Overview
- Managing end-to-end FCL import procedures, from booking to final UK delivery.
- Coordinating with international offices and shipping lines regarding schedules, container availability, and documentation.
- Liaising with internal customs teams to ensure timely clearance.
- Arranging UK transport and liaising with warehouses for de-vanning.
- Proactively tracking shipments and resolving any logistical bottlenecks.
- Maintaining high-quality customer service by ensuring client commitments are met.
- Updating systems accurately and assisting with document management (Bills of Lading).
