Position: Senior Quantity SurveyorLocation: ElySalary: £60,000 - £70,000 plus packageBennett & Game are representing a growing and well-established construction consultancy who are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.The successful candidate will join a business delivering Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management and wider construction consultancy services across a varied portfolio of projects. Their work spans multiple sectors, including residential, healthcare, commercial, education and refurbishment, with projects located across London and the wider UK.This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of their own projects while playing a key role within the Ely office. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, support junior team members and help drive the continued development of the team.

- Hybrid working, typically 1 day per week from home

Senior Quantity Surveyor Position Overview
- Deliver full pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services across a varied project portfolio
- Manage projects from initial cost planning and procurement through to final account
- Prepare estimates, cost plans, tender documentation, Bills of Quantities and cost reports
- Manage valuations, variations, change control and final account negotiations
- Attend client, site and commercial meetings and build strong stakeholder relationships
- Support and mentor junior members of the Quantity Surveying team
- Travel to project sites and client locations across the UK as required
Senior Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally operating at Senior QS level or ready to step up
- Main contractor or contractor-side Quantity Surveying experience is highly desirable
- Strong pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying experience
- Experience across a range of construction sectors would be advantageous
- Commercially astute with the ability to manage projects independently
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Able to support, mentor and develop junior members of the team
