Position Overview
Assist with preventative maintenance and breakdowns on electrical matters in a well-established manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Undertake planned preventative and reactive maintenance duties in a timely manner ensuring operational downtime is kept to a minimum.
- Identify solutions that will improve system efficiency and reduce costs with existing equipment while being involved in developing and commissioning new equipment.
- Ensure that all equipment is maintained to a high standard of housekeeping and health and safety at all times.
- Work alongside on-site contractors.
Requirements
- Proven experience with an electrical maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
- City & Guilds 18th edition qualified or equivalent.
- Good attention to detail.
- Experience of PLC systems desirable.
- Based in a commutable distance of Stoke on Trent.
- Willingness to be part of a call-out rota.
Remuneration & Benefits
- Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30.
- Permanent position.
- 33 days holiday, including bank holidays.
