Our client, a leading Architectural Practice based in Chorley, Lancashire, is currently seeking an Architectural Technologist to join their growing team.

Renowned for delivering innovative and technically complex Healthcare projects across the UK, this is an excellent opportunity to join an established practice with an outstanding reputation and a strong pipeline of secured work.

The successful Architectural Technologist will play an important role in delivering projects across a broad range of healthcare environments, including acute hospitals, community healthcare, specialist clinical facilities and mental health schemes, alongside opportunities to work across a variety of other sectors.

Rather than focusing on a single large development, you will gain exposure to numerous technically challenging projects, providing excellent variety and the opportunity to further develop your technical expertise.

With significant investment being made across the UK's healthcare infrastructure, our client continues to secure exciting new commissions and is looking to expand its technical team over the coming months.

They are keen to speak with ambitious Architectural Technologists who have strong technical ability, a good working knowledge of Revit and a desire to continue developing their career within a collaborative and supportive practice.

Healthcare experience would be advantageous but is by no means essential.

  • Architectural Technologist Overview
  • Assist in the delivery of projects across the Healthcare sector and a variety of other sectors
  • Work on a diverse portfolio including hospitals, community healthcare, specialist clinical and mental health facilities
  • Produce high-quality technical drawings, BIM models and construction packages using Revit
  • Assist in the technical delivery of projects through all RIBA Stages
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants and the wider design team throughout project delivery
  • Prepare Planning and Building Regulations submissions
  • Ensure technical drawings and project documentation are accurate, coordinated and compliant with current UK Building Regulations
  • Contribute to the successful delivery of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Support senior team members while continuing to develop your own technical knowledge and project responsibilities
  • Architectural Technologist Requirements
  • Experience working within a UK Architectural Practice
  • Good working knowledge of Revit
  • Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
  • Healthcare sector experience advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team
  • Enthusiastic, technically minded and eager to continue developing professionally
  • Based within a commutable distance of Chorley
