A Commercial Catering Engineer is required for a client who is based in East London, they are a leading commercial catering equipment company supplying the catering, hospitality, and public sectors. They offer full turnkey solutions to all clients carrying out service, maintenance, repairs, and installations on all types of commercial catering and refrigeration equipment. This role has come up due to continued demand and new contracts starting.

The Commercial Catering Engineer will be required to provide service, maintenance, and breakdown of catering equipment, including, fryers, ovens, microwaves, and steamers. The Commercial Catering Engineer will attend sites across East Anglia, on sites such as restaurants, hotels, schools, and bars. The commercial catering engineer must have Comcat qualifications, such as Comcat 1,3 and 5.

As a Catering Engineer, you will be carrying out maintenance, repairs, and fault finding of Catering equipment e.g. restaurant, hotel, school, and pub catering appliances, including cook line equipment and ware washing. Experience with Rational and Hobart would be an advantage.

  • Comcat 1,2,3 and 5
  • The successful candidate must have Commercial Catering Equipment industry experience
  • Experience in electrical and gas catering equipment repair & maintenance.
  • Experience with Rational and Hobart would be an advantage.
  • Live within East London and Essex
  • Full UK driving licence

Commercial Catering Engineer Salary & Benefits

  • £48-50k depending on experience
  • 5 hour week
  • Company Van, personal use, and fuel card
  • Overtime – 1.5x & 2x
  • 28 days holiday plus bank rising within service
