Our client is a leading supplier of heavy equipment and machinery, providing industry-leading products and aftersales support across the UK. They are looking for a Hire Controller to join their busy Burton upon Trent team. This is a fast-paced role where you'll be the first point of contact for customers, coordinating engineers and ensuring service requests and breakdowns are managed efficiently.

The Role

  • Handling incoming customer calls and emails.
  • Logging breakdowns and service requests.
  • Scheduling and coordinating field service engineers.
  • Managing engineer diaries and workloads.
  • Keeping customers updated on job progress.
  • Raising service documentation and job records.
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure jobs are completed efficiently.
