- Design foundation piles, retaining structures and ground improvement solutions.
- Design ground anchors and soil‑nail systems.
- Produce efficient designs for both tender and live projects.
- Provide technical support to construction teams throughout project delivery.
- Prepare engineering calculations, reports and design documentation.
- Work closely with project, estimating and site teams to develop cost‑effective engineering solutions.
- Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement within the design department.

Requirements
- Degree qualified in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
- Experience, or a genuine interest, in foundations and ground engineering.
- Knowledge of piling, retaining structures, grouting, soil mixing, anchors or soil‑nail systems (advantageous).
- Experience using software such as PLAXIS, WALLAP, the Oasys Suite or Auto CAD (training provided).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
