Due to continued development, they are seeking an enthusiastic CAD Engineer to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at an early stage of their engineering career, with previous industry experience not essential.
The successful candidate will have a solid engineering foundation, CAD experience and a genuine willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- CAD Engineer Position Overview
- Carrying out design detailing of units and prepare designs for manufacture.
- Manage plasma cutting requirements and liaise with laser cutting suppliers for pricing and quotations.
- Arrange and order laser-cut components as required.
- Produce accurate CAD designs and engineering information to support manufacturing requirements.
- Work predominantly from the office, with occasional travel to customer sites to carry out design measurements.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers where required to ensure design and manufacturing requirements are understood.

- Degree or Master's qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a similar engineering discipline.
- Previous experience using CAD software, ideally Solidworks
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
