We are currently representing a design-led, award-winning architectural studio based in Dulwich, South East London, now seeking a qualified Architect to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of beautifully crafted projects, ranging from high-end private homes to multi-unit housing and sensitive community-led developments.

This RIBA Chartered Practice is known for its thoughtful approach to placemaking, sustainability, and contextual design. Their expanding portfolio includes medium-scale residential schemes, conservation and retrofit projects, listed buildings, and community developments, working with a variety of private clients, developers, and social organisations. Projects often require a deep understanding of heritage context, high-quality materials, and sustainable detailing.

This role is ideal for a proactive Architect who enjoys collaborative working, is confident running projects independently, and has a passion for delivering exceptional, low-carbon design. You will play a key role in guiding projects from initial brief through to completion, with a strong emphasis on technical detailing and client liaison.

Architect Job Overview

  • Lead residential and mixed-use projects through all RIBA Work stages (1-7)
  • Collaborate closely with the Directors and wider team throughout design development
  • Produce clear and compelling drawings, presentations, and detailed construction packages
  • Guide and manage client communications, meetings and project expectations
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors and statutory bodies to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Work on a range of high-quality UK-based projects, including private houses, retrofits, small-scale housing schemes and public realm initiatives
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of UK Planning and Building Regulations
  • Ensure design solutions incorporate sustainable, robust, and low-carbon detailing
  • Use Vectorworks, SketchUp, Enscape and the Adobe Creative Suite to deliver high-quality graphical outputs

Architect Job Requirements

  • ARB Registered Architect with at least 3 years\’ post-qualification experience
  • Experience working with private clients, developers or social landlords highly desirable
  • Ability to run projects independently across all RIBA stages
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident leading client dialogue
  • Proficient in Vectorworks; Highly Beneficial
  • Proficient with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong technical ability with a clear understanding of sustainable design principles
  • Highly organised, design-focused and committed to quality
  • Based within commuting distance of SE21 or willing to relocate
  • Full eligibility to work in the UK
  • Fluent spoken and written English essential
