  • Use Auto CAD to prepare and amend technical drawings for specialist gas-system installations
  • Identify the products, materials and labour required for individual projects
  • Prepare bills of quantities, cost estimates and quotations
  • Assist with client-facing technical and commercial documentation
  • Manage an enquiry workload and ensure deadlines are met
  • Develop a working knowledge of regulations and standards relating to compressed gases
  • Liaise with colleagues, clients and suppliers to clarify technical information
  • Job Requirements
  • HNC, HND or higher qualification in Engineering, Design or a closely related discipline
  • Experience using Auto CAD, including experience gained through college or higher education
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering or construction drawings
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, particularly Excel
  • Strong numerical ability with a methodical and detail-focused approach
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Graduate/entry-level candidates are suitable; previous estimating, design, construction or engineering experience is desirable
  • Experience preparing bills of quantities, quotations or technical documentation would be beneficial
