Our client, a well-established, multi-award-winning architectural practice with multiple studios across the UK is currently seeking a talented Senior Architect to join their growing team in Oxford.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Senior Architect to work as part of an experienced, talented and collaborative team.
Due to an increasing project workload across the South of England, they are looking to strengthen both their London and Oxford studios, with Oxford currently being the priority.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the business whilst working on a diverse portfolio of technically challenging projects.
The practice has built an excellent reputation for delivering innovative and sustainable design solutions across a wide range of sectors.
Their expertise spans projects from small-scale refurbishments through to large new-build developments within the Science & Research, Healthcare, Residential, Education, Commercial, Industrial, Leisure and Retail sectors.
They have a particularly strong pipeline of laboratory and Science & Research projects alongside residential developments, with a number of schemes due to commence on site over the coming weeks.
- Senior Architect Job Overview
- Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors throughout project delivery
- Lead the delivery of innovative projects across a range of sectors including Science & Research, Healthcare, Residential and Education
- Manage projects through all RIBA Stages, with particular involvement in technical delivery and construction
- Oversee and coordinate internal project teams, ensuring high-quality project delivery
- Produce and coordinate detailed technical information using Revit on a daily basis
- Attend site visits, inspections and project meetings throughout the construction phase
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and external consultants
- Lead both the design and technical delivery process
- Support and mentor junior members of the team whilst helping to develop the growing London studio

- Living within a commutable distance of Oxford
- Strong Revit knowledge with the ability to work confidently without supervision
- Proven experience delivering projects through technical stages and on-site
- Strong technical detailing and design skills
- Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction processes
- Experience running projects
- Comfortable mentoring and supporting junior staff
- ARB Registered Architect
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
