Workshop powered access engineer required. Bennett and Game Recruitment are currently representing a Plant and Tool company that are looking for a Workshop Engineer in Bedford.
The ideal candidate will come from a strong electrical engineering background and will ideally have experience with powered access equipment.
Position Overview- Servicing, repairing and maintaining manual and electrically powered access equipment including Eco`s, Peco`s and scissor lifts
- LOLER inspections on powered access equipment and other plant
- Keeping service records up to date
- Adhering to workshop health & safety rules and regulations
- The fleet of powered access equipment is all electric
- The role requires you to do 40 hours a week but there is flexibility on the hours you do
- Free lunches are also provided so it is a good working environment
- The client has a brand-new fulling indoor workshop in a central location in Bedford
- Experience in a similar role is desirable
- CAP qualification desirable but not essential
- Strong electrical background in powered access or plant industry
- Work well as a team and alone
- Good administrative and organisational skills
- Commutable distance of Bedford
- £35,000-£50,000 salary dependant on experience
- 40 hour working week (Flexible in the hours you work)
