Our client is an established, independent Construction Consultancy with over 60 years of experience delivering Quantity Surveying, Project Management and Building Surveying services across the UK.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Worcester office.

The successful candidate will work on a diverse portfolio of refurbishment, fit-out and new build developments for a range of private and public sector clients, many of whom have long-term relationships with the business.
The successful Quantity Surveyor will be involved in both pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying, working closely with experienced Chartered Surveyors throughout the full project lifecycle.

Deliver pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services across a diverse range of construction projects
- Prepare feasibility estimates, cost plans and project budgets
- Produce tender documentation and manage procurement processes
- Evaluate tenders and prepare tender reports
- Undertake contract administration duties under a range of standard forms of contract
- Prepare interim valuations, cost reports and financial forecasts
- Monitor project costs and provide commercial advice throughout project delivery
- Negotiate and agree final accounts
- Attend client, consultant and site meetings
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships whilst supporting successful project delivery Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a consultancy or contractor environment
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related Construction discipline
- Experience delivering projects from pre-contract through to final account
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills
- Ambitious with a desire to progress within an established consultancy
- Full UK driving licence
