25 per hour + Overtime at Time & a Half Location: Bristol / Somerset Area
Our client is a growing specialist in heavy plant, crushing and screening equipment, supporting customers across the construction, quarrying and recycling sectors. They are looking for an experienced Plant Engineer to join their team, working across workshop and mobile operations. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive business with strong overtime and development opportunities.
The Role
- Service, maintain and repair crushing & screening equipment
- Work on Gipo, Finlay, Metso, McCloskey & Powerscreen
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs
- Minimise machine downtime
- Complete service reports and documentation
- Order parts and liaise with management
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment
- Manage your own tools
Requirements
- Formal apprenticeship or equivalent in:
- Plant Maintenance
- Agricultural Mechanics
- HGV Mechanics
- 3+ years' heavy plant experience
- Strong knowledge of diesel, hydraulics and electrics
- Experience with transmissions and drivelines
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Reliable, self-motivated and hardworking
Salary & Benefits
- 25 per hour
- Overtime at Time & a Half
- Monday-Friday, 07:30-18:00
