Salary & Benefits * £30,000 - £45,000 salary DOE * Hybrid working * 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays * Private health insurance * Pension scheme * Car allowance * Professional membership subscription paid * Discretionary performance bonus * Relaxed, modern and professional working environment Assistant Construction Project Manager Position Overview * Support the delivery of construction projects from inception through to completion * Assist with the coordination of clients, contractors, consultants and wider project teams * Support the preparation and management of project programmes, reports and project documentation * Attend project meetings, assist with recording actions and develop confidence in leading meetings as experience grows * Assist with feasibility studies, site surveys, investigations and other project assessments * Monitor contractor progress and provide updates to the wider project team * Develop experience in Contract Administration and Employer's Agent duties under JCT contracts * Work alongside experienced team members to develop into a Project Manager capable of taking ownership of projects Assistant Construction Project Manager Position Requirements * Degree in Construction, Project Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline would be advantageous but is not essential * Open to graduate and early-career candidates with a genuine interest in construction project management * Previous experience within construction, consultancy or contracting would be advantageous * Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines * Good communication skills and confidence dealing with clients, contractors and consultants * Commercial awareness and an interest in developing wider Quantity Surveying knowledge * Proficient in Microsoft Office, with Microsoft Project experience advantageous * Ambitious, proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn and develop * Personable and professional approach with the ability to work effectively within a small team Bennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
