Bennett & Game are pleased to be representing a leading UK scaffolding and access contractor based in Wednesbury, who are seeking a Sales Estimator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded individual from a scaffolding, access, construction sales or temporary works background. The role would suit someone who is confident speaking with clients, generating enquiries and developing relationships, with full training provided on pricing and estimating where required.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales leads, speaking with clients, attending meetings and supporting the pricing of scaffolding projects across a range of sectors.
Sales Estimator Job Overview- Generate new enquiries through sales calls, client contact and relationship building
- Follow up on warm leads and develop opportunities into live enquiries
- Attend client meetings and site visits to understand project requirements
- Prepare quotations and assist with pricing scaffolding works
- Review drawings, specifications and tender information where required
- Liaise with internal teams to understand labour, materials, transport and programme requirements
- Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers
- Support repeat business through regular communication and account management
- Previous experience within scaffolding, access, temporary works, construction sales or a similar sector
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with clients over the phone and face-to-face
- Commercially minded with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Estimating or pricing experience would be advantageous but is not essential
- Good understanding of scaffolding, access solutions or wider construction works
- Comfortable generating enquiries and following up sales opportunities
- Full UK driving licence
