Overview Position: Water Hygiene EngineerLocation: SalisburySalary: £30,000 – £37,500Our client is looking for a hands-on Senior Water Hygiene Engineer to join their skilled team. The role involves a mix of planned preventative maintenance, remedial works and risk assessments across sites including NHS and MOD sites.Responsibilities Conduct Legionella risk assessments in accordance with ACoP L8 regulationsDisinfect cold-water storage tanks and associated systemsInspect calorifiers and perform descalingService and replace TMVsManage water sampling and flushing regimesClean and chlorinate water systemsSupport and mentor junior engineers and apprenticesComplete accurate and timely reports and paperworkQualifications City & Guilds qualifications in Legionella risk assessmentFull UK driving licenceExcellent understanding of Legionella control and complianceL8 Awareness & Legionella Risk Assessment experience essentialCompetent with technical procedures, safe systems of work and method statementsWillingness to obtain MOD security clearanceBased within commutable distance of SalisburySalary & Benefits Basic salary – £30,000 to £37,500 depending on experienceCompany van and fuel cardFull PPE and tools providedOngoing training and CPD supportOvertimeWorking hours – 7:30am to 4:30pm (flexibility to 8am – 5pm depending on client)
