Project Architect Job Overview
  • Lead and manage high-end residential projects through all RIBA work stages, from concept design through to completion
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact throughout project delivery
  • Produce high-quality design, planning, tender and construction drawing packages
  • Coordinate consultants, contractors and wider project teams to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Attend and lead client meetings, design reviews and site visits
  • Provide technical guidance and resolve design and construction-related queries
  • Contribute to the continued growth and development of the practice
  • Champion sustainable and environmentally responsible design principles throughout projects
  • Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate
Project Architect Job Requirements
  • ARB-registered Architect with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience
  • Strong experience delivering high-end UK private residential projects
  • Proven ability to manage projects independently through all RIBA stages
  • Strong design and technical capability, with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident managing client relationships with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Driven, committed and motivated to develop into a key role within the practice
  • Collaborative and supportive approach to working within a close-knit team
  • Genuine interest in sustainability, with Passivhaus knowledge or experience highly desirable
  • Proficiency in Vectorworks preferred
  • 3D modelling and visualisation skills beneficial
  • Experience or interest in AI-led visualisation tools advantageous
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Ideally located within a 45-minute commute of the office
  • Full UK driving licence beneficial for site visits
