Overview
Bennett and Game are currently partnering with a leading transport company who, due to continued growth, are actively seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join their team at their Goole location.
Responsibilities
- Working with customers, suppliers, drivers, and in-house customer service desks to ensure the smooth running of operations.
- Prioritising workload, route planning, and conducting driver briefings and debriefings.
- Demonstrating strong organisational skills in planning schedules, journeys, and loads.
- Maintaining the in-house computerised system and possessing the skills to use Excel spreadsheets.
- Working in line with VOSA and compliance standards.
- Monitoring compliance and working with drivers and the compliance team to eliminate infringements.
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience of O\\\’Licence requirements and compliance.
- Knowledge of Tanker or ADR Transport – highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong IT and TMS system knowledge.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills – essential.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £33k – £40k.
- Monday – Friday (08:00 – 17:00).
- 22 days\\\’ holiday plus bank holidays.
