Topographical Surveyor Job Overview
Carrying out high-accuracy topographical surveys using total stations, GPS, and 3D laser scanning
Processing survey data and producing high-quality CAD drawings to company and client standards
Working on a wide variety of projects, including highways, land development, infrastructure, and construction
Liaising with clients and site teams to ensure work is delivered accurately and to deadlines
Maintaining and calibrating survey equipment and adhering to best practices and health & safety standards
Supporting junior surveyors and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams as required
Topographical Surveyor Job Requirements
Minimum 3 years\’ experience in topographical surveying
Strong practical and technical knowledge of surveying methods and equipment
Proficient in the use of total stations, GNSS/GPS systems, and data processing software
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant packages
A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail
Full UK driving licence
