Bennett & Game are representing a well-established refurbishment contractor who are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. The company deliver a wide range of refurbishment and fit out projects across the South of England, with schemes typically ranging from £10k to £3M. With a £15M turnover, circa 45 office staff and 130 operatives, they offer strong financial stability, a structured commercial team and genuine long-term progression opportunities.

Quantity Surveyor Position Overview

  • Supporting cost planning, measurement and take-offs across multiple projects
  • Managing procurement and issuing subcontract enquiries
  • Preparing valuations and applications for payment
  • Monitoring project costs, variations and subcontract accounts
  • Attending site visits and progress meetings
  • Supporting commercial reporting and administration
  • Working closely with senior QS staff and gaining increased project responsibility

Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years Quantity Surveying experience
  • Background in refurbishment, fit out or subcontracting preferred
  • HNC, Degree or equivalent construction/commercial qualification
  • Strong numerical and communication skills
  • Confident working across both office and site environments
  • Full UK driving licence
