Our client, a well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy with offices across the UK, are currently seeking a Project Architect to join their growing Manchester studio. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a highly respected practice delivering an impressive portfolio of projects across the Education, High-rise residential, Healthcare, Commercial, Heritage and Regeneration sectors.
The Manchester office plays a key role in delivering a wide variety of new-build, refurbishment, retrofit and large-scale regeneration schemes for local authorities, housing associations, education providers, commercial clients and public sector organisations. Current work includes high-rise residential remediation and refurbishment projects, schools and university buildings, healthcare facilities, commercial developments, heritage refurbishments and major residential regeneration schemes, with project values typically ranging from £5 million to £20 million.
Due to a continued increase in workload, they are seeking a talented Project Architect to take ownership of projects from design through to completion. You'll work closely with an experienced multi-disciplinary team, leading projects across all RIBA Stages while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring high-quality project delivery.
Project Architect Overview- Lead projects across all RIBA Stages from concept through to completion
- Produce design proposals, planning drawings and technical packages using Revit and AutoCAD
- Coordinate Architects, Technologists, Engineers and external Consultants throughout project delivery
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, Contractors and project stakeholders
- Attend client, design team and site meetings
- Deliver projects across the education, residential, high-rise residential, healthcare, commercial, heritage and regeneration sectors
- Ensure projects are delivered on programme, within budget and to the highest technical standards
- Resolve technical and construction-related issues throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with current UK Building Regulations and planning requirements
- Mentor and support junior members of the architectural team
- ARB registered Architect
- Experience working as a Project Architect within a UK Architectural Practice
- Experience delivering projects across all RIBA Stages
- Strong design, technical detailing and project running skills
- AutoCAD experience essential, with Revit experience advantageous
- Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction methods
- Strong communication and client-facing abilities
- Experience within the education, residential, commercial, healthcare or regeneration sectors would be advantageous
- Live within a commutable distance of Manchester
