Electrical Maintenance Engineer required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer based in the Stoke on Trent area, who due to continued success are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will be assisting with preventative maintenance and breakdowns on electrical matters.
Position Overview
- Undertake planned preventative and reactive maintenance duties in a timely manner ensuring operational downtime is kept to a minimum.
- Identify solutions that will improve systems efficiency and reduce costs with existing equipment whilst being involved in developing and commissioning new equipment.
- Ensure that all equipment is to a high standard of housekeeping and health and safety at all times.
- Work alongside on-site contractors.
Position Requirements
- Proven experience with an electrically biased maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
- City & Guilds 18th edition qualified or similar.
- Good attention to detail.
- Experience of PLC systems is desirable.
- Based in a commutable distance of Stoke on Trent.
- Willingness to partake in a call out rota.
Position Remuneration
- Salary £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
- Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30, permanent position.
- 33 days holiday, including bank holidays.
