CNC Miller required for a well-established and highly specialised precision engineering manufacturer supplying bespoke components into the packaging, converting and print industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for Programming, Setting and Operating CNC Milling machines to produce high-quality precision components for niche production machinery applications.

Job Overview:

  • Programming, Setting and Operating CNC Milling machines
  • Online programming using Hurco controls
  • Manufacturing precision engineered components to tight tolerances
  • Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings
  • Measuring dimensions and tolerances using Micrometres, Verniers and Callipers
  • Accurately recording manufacturing times using ERP terminals
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and housekeeping throughout the workshop

Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years Previous experience Programming, Setting and Operating CNC Mills
  • Experience with Hurco controls advantageous, Fanuc experience transferable
  • Strong understanding of online programming
  • Experience working on 3-axis CNC Milling machines
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience using manual mills beneficial
  • Competent using measuring and inspection equipment
  • Based within a commutable distance of Havant

Salary & Benefits:

  • £18.00 - £19.00 per hour DOE
  • Overtime
  • Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week (flexible on start time)
  • 28 days holiday inclusive of public holidays
  • On-site parking
