An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contracts / Project Manager to join a well-established refurbishment and fit-out contractor due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work.

With over 30 years of experience, the business delivers refurbishment, fit-out and design & build projects across the Higher Education, Commercial, Healthcare and Public sectors, with project values ranging from £10,000 to £10 million. Operating nationally, they have built long-standing relationships with prestigious clients through framework agreements and repeat business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project or Contracts Manager to take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion, managing programmes, subcontractors, client relationships and commercial performance while working within a supportive and growing business.

Job Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Project Manager or Contracts Manager within the construction industry
  • Proven experience delivering refurbishment, fit-out or Design & Build projects
  • Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to completion
  • Construction-related qualification (Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent)
  • CSCS Card
  • Strong commercial awareness and programme management skills
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, consultants and design teams
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Willingness to travel throughout England as required
Salary & Benefits
  • Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 (DOE)

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage refurbishment and fit-out projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover
  • Develop and manage project programmes, procurement strategies and resource planning
  • Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and design teams throughout project delivery
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  • Monitor project performance, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget
  • Drive quality, health & safety and compliance across all projects
  • Identify value engineering opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work closely with commercial and operational teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Attend project meetings and provide regular progress updates to senior management
