Established for over 30 years, our client has built an excellent reputation across the Agricultural, Commercial, Education, Health, Industrial and Retail sectors. Due to continued growth and investment, they are now seeking a proactive HSQE professional to lead and develop the company's Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental management systems across both office and site operations.

Job Overview
  • Lead and promote Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental standards across the business
  • Drive a positive safety culture through employee engagement, training and behavioural improvement initiatives
  • Develop and implement annual HSQE improvement plans
  • Manage and maintain the Integrated Management System in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
  • Conduct internal audits, inspections and compliance reviews across sites and facilities
  • Ensure effective risk assessments and safe systems of work are implemented
  • Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, implementing corrective actions
  • Deliver toolbox talks, training sessions and HSQE guidance to operational teams
  • Maintain key accreditations including Achilles, CIRAS, RISQS and Common Assessment Standard compliance
  • Liaise with external bodies including the HSE, Environment Agency and Local Authorities
  • Produce reports and recommendations based on audit findings and performance data
  • Collaborate with departmental managers to identify training requirements and drive continuous improvement
Job Requirements
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) essential
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental management role
  • Previous experience within construction, structural steel, fabrication, manufacturing or engineering environments
  • Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and best practice
  • Experience conducting audits, inspections and incident investigations
  • Experience managing ISO systems and third-party accreditations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Valid CSCS Card
