Our client a Civil Engineering Contractor based in West Sussex are looking for a Site Operative , to work on Design projects from climate adaptation and infrastructure projects. The Skilled Operative will receive a generous salary up to £33k( paid per hour based on a 45 hour week), company bonus, Private Healthcare and fantastic career development The Skilled Operative will work alongside a Site Foreman on projects across Brighton, Gatwick and Eastbourne and be responsible for the completion of tasks on site under the supervision of the Site Foreman, ensuring the works are completed without harm to people, environment and targeting zero defects. Site Operative Job Overview Plant & Equipment: Operate, maintain, and return tools/equipment in good condition. Health & Safety : Ensure safe working practices, wear appropriate PPE, and follow method statements and risk assessments. Site Standards : Keep work areas clean, tidy, and secure, ensuring proper material storage and waste management.
