The Manager will join a medium sized team within the Accountancy Practice to deliver high quality and fast paced Accounts Services to a high profile client base, managing a team of staff, and playing a crucial role contributing to the success of the practice. If you are a qualified accountant looking to continue their growth within a growing practice, stepping into a management role, then look no further.

Manager Job Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, acting as the trusted day-to-day contact
  • Review statutory accounts, management accounts, and tax computations to a high technical standard
  • Ensure all work is delivered on time, within budget, and in line with regulatory requirements
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team, including workflow planning and performance management
  • Oversee compliance with accounting standards, tax legislation, and professional regulations
  • Identify opportunities to add value through advisory services and cross-selling
  • Support partners with billing, WIP control, and fee discussions
  • Drive efficiency by improving systems, processes, and internal controls
  • Keep up to date with legislative changes and communicate impacts to clients and staff
Manager Job Requirements
  • ACCA or ACA qualified
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in leadership
  • Knowledge and experience of working in Xero, Sage, or IRIS
  • Able to commute to Sheffield
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Manager Job Remuneration
  • £45,000 - £50,000 (dependant on experience)
  • 37.5 hours per week 8:30am - 17:00pm (flexible start/finish times)
  • 23 days + bank holiday and paid Christmas shutdown
