The Manager will join a medium sized team within the Accountancy Practice to deliver high quality and fast paced Accounts Services to a high profile client base, managing a team of staff, and playing a crucial role contributing to the success of the practice. If you are a qualified accountant looking to continue their growth within a growing practice, stepping into a management role, then look no further.
Manager Job Responsibilities- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, acting as the trusted day-to-day contact
- Review statutory accounts, management accounts, and tax computations to a high technical standard
- Ensure all work is delivered on time, within budget, and in line with regulatory requirements
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team, including workflow planning and performance management
- Oversee compliance with accounting standards, tax legislation, and professional regulations
- Identify opportunities to add value through advisory services and cross-selling
- Support partners with billing, WIP control, and fee discussions
- Drive efficiency by improving systems, processes, and internal controls
- Keep up to date with legislative changes and communicate impacts to clients and staff
- ACCA or ACA qualified
- A minimum of 2 years experience in leadership
- Knowledge and experience of working in Xero, Sage, or IRIS
- Able to commute to Sheffield
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- £45,000 - £50,000 (dependant on experience)
- 37.5 hours per week 8:30am - 17:00pm (flexible start/finish times)
- 23 days + bank holiday and paid Christmas shutdown
