Overview
Our clients, who are a full M&E Contractor based in Hampshire, which offer a full turnkey solution, are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to oversee and estimate Electrical projects. All projects are within commercial and industrial environments, with a strong focus on MOD and Government sites.
Responsibilities
- Lead the estimating and tendering process for electrical projects ranging from small works to complex tenders between £100k-£2m.
- Review drawings, quantify materials, labour, and plant, and prepare commercially robust submissions.
- Oversee subcontractor engagement, cost analysis, and risk assessment while ensuring compliance with company standards, client requirements, and electrical installation regulations.
- Support project delivery through variation pricing, site surveys, client meetings, and coordination with operations managers.
- Ensure accurate records, effective resource planning, and strong communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Proven electrical estimating background within commercial and industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical compliance and regulations.
- Desirable to have spent time as an electrician.
- Ability to commute to the company head office in Fareham; hybrid working is flexible.

- £55-65k per annum – small flexibility for the right candidate.
