Accounts Senior required. My client is a well-known firm of chartered accountants and businesses, based in the Stoke area. Due to recent growth, they are seeking an Accounts Senior to join their team and manage a varied portfolio of clients.
The role will entail working with OMB's to assist with management and financial information on a quarterly and yearly basis whilst also offering advice to assist them moving forward when making impactful decisions for their businesses.
The successful candidate will get up to 35k (circa) 25 days holiday, 5% profit share, early Friday finishes and loads more.
Position Overview- Accounts preparation for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies
- Preparation of consolidated statutory accounts
- Prepare management accounts
- Cashflow forecasting
- Prepare meeting documents for accounts meetings
- Corporation tax compliance work and handle any ad hoc tax planning advice
- ACA/ACCA qualified/part-qualified
- Previous experience working in an accountancy practice is essential
- Strong financial reporting knowledge
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior staff members
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an accountancy practice and be ACA/ACCA qualified/part-qualified.
Position Remuneration- Basic salary up to 35,000 (DOE)
- 5% profit share bonus (paid in the last two years)
