Service Manager required for our client, a well-established M&E Service provider with over 40 years in the industry. This role is based at their office in Romford; however, travel to other offices and clients' sites throughout London is to be expected.
The Service Manager will be expected to lead a team of 15 engineers and 4 service coordinators, managing multiple contracts and driving operational excellence across the business. This role would suit an experienced Facilities Management or Building Services professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys developing teams, improving processes, and building strong client relationships.
Service Manager - Salary & Benefits
- Basic Salary £45,000 - £55,000 DOE
- 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, 1 hour lunch
- 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
- 4% of the Employee's basic salary

Service Manager - Job Overview
- Lead the operational delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across multiple client contracts.
- Manage contract performance, ensuring compliance with SLAs, KPIs, statutory requirements, and health & safety standards.
- Oversee CAFM systems, job lifecycle management, contract mobilisation, client portals, and operational reporting.
- Direct subcontractor, engineer, and coordinator performance, ensuring effective resource planning and service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the operational lead for key accounts and resolving service issues.
- Support commercial performance through WIP management, invoicing accuracy, margin improvement, and supplier credit control.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, service quality, and team performance.

- Technical background with experience managing engineers & additional admin staff
- Strong client facing experience
- Full Driving Licence
- Live within a commutable distance of Romford, Essex
