Position: Junior Project Manager Location: Ringwood Salary: £30k - £35k Bennett & Game are representing an established commercial interiors and fit-out contractor who are seeking a Junior Project Manager to join their growing project team. The company specialise in commercial office design, fit-out and refurbishment, delivering projects across Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, Sussex and the wider South of England. Their work covers a wide range of commercial sectors, with projects ranging from smaller works through to larger office fit-outs, refurbishments and specialist workplace projects. The business has a strong reputation for quality and delivers projects through an experienced team with significant in-house capability. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Junior Project Manager to join a growing business at an exciting point in its development. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced Project Managers and senior members of the team, gaining exposure to live projects while also taking responsibility for a key reactive maintenance account. There is a clear intention to develop junior members of the team into fully autonomous Project Managers and ultimately more senior positions, with considerable support and training available from an experienced project leadership team. Salary & Benefits * £30,000 - £35,000 salary depending on experience * Company car * Company laptop and mobile phone * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * Company pension scheme * Primarily office-based working with flexibility around project requirements and personal commitments * Excellent training and development opportunities * Clear progression towards Senior Project Manager level * Opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects Junior Project Manager Position Overview * Assist with the management and delivery of commercial office fit-out, refurbishment and smaller construction projects * Take responsibility for a key reactive maintenance account, typically requiring one to two days per week * Coordinate trades and resources to respond to client requirements and reactive maintenance issues * Assist with arranging works, coordinating site attendance, maintaining records and ensuring works are completed efficiently * Support the delivery of smaller projects initially, with typical values ranging from £20,000 - £25,000 upwards * Work closely with experienced Project Managers and senior members of the project team to develop your project management skills * Progressively take ownership of larger and more complex projects as experience and capability develops * Liaise with clients, subcontractors, trades and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle * Assist with project administration, programme coordination, cost control and client communication Junior Project Manager Position Requirements * Previous experience within construction, fit-out, shop fitting, refurbishment or a closely related environment * Experience in a project coordination, assistant project management or junior project management capacity * Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple activities * Commercial awareness and an understanding of project delivery processes * Confident dealing with clients, subcontractors and trades * A proactive attitude with a genuine ambition to develop a career within project management * Ability to work predominantly from the Ringwood office while travelling to local projects when required * Full UK driving licence * A willingness to learn, take responsibility and progress quickly within a growing business Bennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
