Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Portsmouth
Salary: £18.00- £20.00 per hour
Maintenance Technician required for a manufacturer and supplier of double-glazing windows in Portsmouth. Suitable candidates will have fault finding experience, mechanical and electrical as well as CNC maintenance experience.
Maintenance Technician Overview
- Undertake general daily maintenance on a wide range of machinery and plant.
- Be responsible for electrical and mechanical fault finding.
- Diagnose and repair machine breakdowns.
- Arrange mandatory inspections/services as and when required.
- Whenever possible, carry out hands-on repairs to plant and equipment and when not possible, escalate and oversee arrangements with plant specialists.
- All maintenance and repairs carried out to be documented.
Maintenance Technician Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience of CNC machine tool service or maintenance.
- Electrical and mechanical skills.
- Familiar with a variety of CNC control systems and machine types.
Maintenance Technician Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £18.00- £20.00 per hour
- Hours: 7.30 am - 4.30 pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30 am - 2.00 pm on a Friday
- 28 days holiday, including bank holidays.
