Our client requires a Senior Air Conditioning Engineer for a company near Oxford that specialises in Air Conditioning and Water/Glycol chillers, and recently celebrated 30 years of service. They provide application, service and maintenance and projects on a national coverage.

The Senior Engineer will be working across Oxford and Reading, carrying out reactive work on split systems, VRV/VRF systems and Water/Glycol Chillers. Other duties for the Senior Engineer will include providing technical support to engineers and clients on complex reactive breakdowns and act as a support between the engineers and the Technical Management team.

The long-term goal for the engineer will be, over time, moving into a hybrid role covering pricing, quotes for repairs and new contracts, seeking expansion growth on existing contracts through additional works.

The Senior Engineer will be working across all major commercial sectors such as Data Centres, University Hospitals, MOD, Industrial Process Manufacturing, Blue Chip Company HQ, Multi-Tenant Landlord Owned Buildings, Small Private Businesses, Schools, Supermarket and Retail.

Job Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 in air conditioning and Refrigeration
  • Completed Manufacturer Courses
  • UK driving license
  • Live within 30 mins of Oxford
  • Able to provide technical support and guidance to engineers
  • Technical knowledge across HVAC
  • Beneficial to have knowledge of chillers and wide refrigeration applications

Salary & Benefits

  • £45-55k depending on experience
  • 40 hour week - flexible working hours

  • Overtime 1.5 and 2x
