Role Overview - Associate Director

  • Manage a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients, acting as their trusted advisor across accounts, tax and commercial matters.
  • Lead client relationships, delivering proactive business advice whilst identifying opportunities to grow recurring fee income.
  • Oversee portfolio performance including WIP, recoverability, billing, debtors and fee budgets.
  • Support business development through networking, referrals, cross-selling and winning new work.
  • Lead, mentor and develop managers and team members whilst contributing to the firm's continued growth and strategic direction.
  • Role Requirements - Associate Director
  • ACCA and/or CTA qualified.
  • 8-10 years' experience within a UK accountancy practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounts, corporate and personal tax.
  • Proven experience managing a client portfolio and delivering business advisory services.
  • Commercially minded with a track record of developing client relationships and generating new business.
  • Strong leadership, communication and people management skills.
  • Passion for innovation, technology and continuous improvement.
  • Salary & Benefits - Associate Director
  • £60,000 - £80,000 depending on experience.
  • Hybrid working and flexitime.
