- Working with 3mm-15mm thick aluminium with various pipe and flange work
- Working from engineering drawings to fabricate a range of vessels and pipework
- Undertaking a range of fabrication practices including cutting, welding and finishing
- Self-inspection on all work undertaken
Aluminium Welder Job Requirements
- 5 years previous experience in welding/fabrication
- Able to read and understand manufacturing drawings
- Knowledge of both MIG and TIG welding practices
- Knowledge and understanding of industry Health & Safety standards
- Experience welding 3mm-15mm aluminium
- Experience with gas cutting equipment
- Experienced in the use of overhead cranes and slinging
- Based within a commutable distance of Heysham
