Our clients are specialist providers of M&E Commercial Contract management across London, with over 50 years of experience. They're seeking an Operations Manager to lead a portfolio of M&E Contracts in London. Day to day, you will manage clients, financials and engineers, and office-based coordinating staff. The Operations Manager will be able to provide client management information on commercial and technical support.

Additionally, you will have a team of engineers and an admin team to support the operations. In the short term, the Operations Manager will focus on building strong relationships with both teams and clients, ensuring contract delivery, reducing downtime, and refreshing asset documentation. Over the medium term, the role aims to strengthen retention, achieve excellent customer satisfaction, mobilise new sites, and embed innovation. In the long term, the focus will shift to growing the portfolio and developing future leaders.

Operations Manager Job Requirements

  • Proven HVAC/M&E experience with strong operational & commercial acumen.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
  • Be able to manage P&L up to £1m.
  • Technology-literate (CAFM, MS Office) with H&S certification.
  • Full UK driving licence - Able to travel across London.

Operations Manager Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 depending on experience.
  • Pension: 4% employer contribution.
  • Holiday: 25 days + bank/public holidays.
  • Company vehicle or Car allowance.
  • Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday - hybrid working.
