Our client is an experienced HVAC contractor established in 2010 with a strong, long-standing team that provides a full turnkey solution for their client base across the HVAC industry. An exciting vacancy for a Graduate Design Engineer has arisen.
The Graduate HVAC Design Engineer will be focused on delivering commercial projects up to £2m in value while working closely with the senior members of the team. The role will primarily focus on new-build warehouse developments, alongside refit and upgrade projects across the commercial sector.
As a Graduate member of the team, you will be working on HVAC design delivery, overseeing projects from concept through to completion. Day to day will be spent training and developing your skillset with a well-established team with a wealth of experience. This is a hands-on role requiring both office-based design work and site visits to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction. Must have full right to work in the UK; sponsorship isn't available.
Job Requirements- Understanding of HVAC/Mechanical/Building Services systems for the commercial industry
- Keen desire to fulfil a career in designing systems for new build warehouses and refurbishment projects
- Have recently completed a Mechanical Engineering Degree
- Ability to work as a wider team on projects up to £2m in value from design through to installation
- Have experience or knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD
- Have understanding on heat loss and heat gain calculation
- Ability to attend site visits and liaise with contractors, clients, and stakeholders
- Basic salary £27,000 - 30,000, depending on experience
- Profit share scheme - £3600 tax-free per annum after 1 year of service
- Bonus scheme
- 25 days holiday plus
