MEICA Project Manager Location: Maidstone, Kent Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 + Company Car / Car Allowance + Benefits MEICA Project Manager required to join a leading Civil Engineering contractor operating throughout the Water and Utilities sector. The successful MEICA Project Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating the safe installation, integration, testing and commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation systems across multidisciplinary water and infrastructure projects. The MEICA Project Manager will work closely with Civil Engineering teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients to ensure MEICA packages are successfully delivered from design through to commissioning and handover. This position would suit an experienced MEICA Project Manager or an experienced MEICA Site Manager / Site Agent looking to progress into a Project Management position. . MEICA Project Manager Salary & Benefits £55,000 - £70,000 salary, dependent upon experience Company car or car allowance 22 Days holiday + BH Pension up to 10% match Private healthcare and Phone Annual discretionary bonus MEICA Project Manager Job Overview Manage and coordinate MEICA works throughout the design, construction, testing and commissioning phases Coordinate the integration of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Control disciplines Plan, supervise and monitor the installation of mechanical plant, electrical equipment, instrumentation and control systems Manage MEICA subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to achieve programme, quality and safety objectives Produce and manage Construction Phase Plans, Risk Assessments and Method Statements Ensure all works are completed in accordance with approved RAMS, Health & Safety legislation, CDM Regulations and company procedures Monitor project progress and resolve technical, operational and logistical issues Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, clients and operational stakeholders throughout project delivery Manage Inspection and Test Plans and ensure agreed quality standards are maintained Coordinate testing, commissioning and handover activities Support buildability reviews and value engineering initiatives Support the management and development of the MEICA supply chain Ensure works within live operational environments are completed with minimal disruption to existing assets and services Chair weekly and monthly progress meetings Prepare and coordinate monthly project progress reports Maintain accurate project records and technical documentation MEICA Project Manager Job Requirements Previous experience within a MEICA Project Manager, MEICA Site Manager, M&E Project Manager, Site Manager, Site Agent or similar position Strong experience within the Water, Wastewater, Utilities or regulated infrastructure sectors Strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation systems Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes and associated infrastructure Experience coordinating MEICA packages alongside Civil Engineering works Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors and suppliers Experience working within live operational environments Strong understanding of testing, commissioning and asset handover Knowledge of WIMES, CESWI and relevant Water sector specifications Experience managing RAMS, Inspection and Test Plans and quality procedures Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and CDM Regulations SMSTS and CSCS Card, IOSH / NEBOSH desirable Full UK Driving LicenceBennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
