An excellent opportunity has arisen within a top 100 practice, as they recruit for an Accounts Senior/Semi Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This role is well suited to AAT qualified or part ACCA/ACA qualified Accountants, who are ambitious and looking to grow their career.
This practice boasts a diverse clientele across a multitude of sectors, and this position is crucial to maintaining excellent client relationships and standards. This is a hands-on role within a portfolio of clients, meeting deadlines, and providing an excellent service.
Semi Senior Accountant Job Responsibilities:- Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, LLPs, charities, and groups.
- Produce and review VAT returns, bookkeeping, management accounts, and outsourced work to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing feedback and maintaining high performance standards.
- Manage client assignments within budgets and deadlines, resolving review points and delivering high-quality final files.
- Liaise with managers, partners, and the Tax team to resolve queries and identify opportunities for additional client services.
- Maintain accurate time records, comply with CPD requirements, and support the smooth running of the department.
- Fully AAT qualified or part ACA/ACCA qualified. Candidates qualified by experience can also be considered.
- A minimum of 3 years accountancy practice experience.
