Audit Manager Job Overview- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion.
- Review audit files and financial statements to ensure high technical quality.
- Build strong client relationships and provide clear, proactive advice.
- Supervise and develop audit staff, offering coaching and feedback.
- Ensure audits are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget.
- Stay up to date with audit and accounting standards, ensuring full compliance.
- Spot opportunities to add value and support business development.
- Must be ACA or ACCA qualified
- Minimum of 5 years experience within Accountancy Practice
- Must have experience in managing and leading juniors
- Experience working with and liaising with partners
- Capable of meeting deadlines
- Cannot come directly from a top 4 practice. Experience in a mid-sized practice is preferred
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Salary depending on experience, will be circa £(phone number removed) (higher DOE)
