A highly experienced and reputable Accountancy Practice in Aylesbury is hiring for a Payroll Administrator to join their growing team. This role is offering up to ÂŁ35,000 (dependant on experience), study support, 28 days holiday, workplace pension, and a lot of progression and development routes. Payroll Administrator Job Overview
- Prepare and process payroll for clients of various sizes on a weekly, fourâweekly and monthly basis.
- Calculating statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, and SPP.
- Ensure accurate calculations of wages, deductions, and withholdings.
- Maintain payroll records and documentation in compliance with client and company policies and regulations.
- Submitting RTI reports to HMRC.
- Managing pension contributions and autoâenrolment duties.
- Provide administration services for pensions.
- Handling payroll queries from clients and providing advice on payroll legislation.
- Preparing P45s, P60s, and other endâofâyear payroll documents.
- Keeping up to date with payroll legislation and ensuring compliance at all times.
- Reporting to the Payroll Manager and supporting the wider accounts team when required.
Payroll Administrator Job Requirements
- Proven experience in running multiple client payrolls in a bureau environment.
- Proficiency in Sage 50 Payroll software.
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC procedures and compliance.
- Knowledge of The Pensions Regulator rules and regulations.
- Strong communication and client service skills.
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Payroll Administrator Salary & Benefits
- Salary dependant on experience, paying up to ÂŁ35,000.
