Role Overview
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, inspection, and repair of lifting and safety equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs to a high standard.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with relevant industry standards.
- Accurately complete service reports and maintenance documentation.
- Support customers with technical advice when required.
- Work both within the workshop and at customer sites as required.
- Maintain company equipment, tools, and vehicle to a professional standard.
- Contribute positively to the wider engineering team and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a mechanical engineering, maintenance, or fitting role.
- Experience working with lifting equipment is advantageous but not essential.
- LEEA qualifications are desirable.
- Basic electrical knowledge would be beneficial.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail with accurate record-keeping skills.
