We currently have an opportunity available to join a renewable energy contractor with over 20 years of experience in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar PV, heat pumps, and battery storage systems across Sussex, Hampshire and Surrey. This role is an opportunity for a recently qualified or experienced Plumbing & Heating Engineer to get into the renewables sector, with full training on air source heat pumps provided.
Job Overview
- Assisting a qualified and experienced Heat Pump Engineer in the installation and commissioning of air source heat pumps within domestic properties
- Assisting with the removal and disposal of gas boiler systems
- Completing full heating system installations including pipework, radiators, pumps, and cylinders
- Travelling to sites within 45 minutes of Horsham, including Sussex, Surrey, and Hampshire
Job Requirements
- Hold NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating
- Hold G3 Unvented Hot Water & Water Regs
- Previous experience completing plumbing and heating installations
- Experience working on air source heat pumps is desirable but not essential as training is provided
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Based within a commutable distance of Horsham, West Sussex
Salary & Benefits
- Basic salary £30,000 - £35,000, negotiable depending on experience
- Company van provided
- Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm (30-minute lunch break)
- 22 days holiday, plus
