Salary: £50,654- £57,319 per annum including late-shift premium CNC Turner & Programmer required for a well-established precision engineering company based in Leighton Buzzard.
The successful candidate will need to be able to write new CNC programs from scratch with little or no supervision.
Ideally Fanuc controls experience but not essential.
CNC Turner & Programmer Essential Experience Proven experience programming, setting and operating 2-axis CNC turning machines Strong working knowledge of G-code programming.
Confident completing the full machine set-up from engineering drawing to finished component, including material, tooling, speeds, feeds and cutting conditions.
Able to edit and optimise existing programs where required.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings, geometric tolerances, surface finishes and in-process inspection.
Experience producing one-off and low-to-medium-volume precision components in a range of hard and soft metals.
Confident working on parts from approximately 25 mm x 100 mm up to 300 mm x 3 m.
Hoist training is provided.
CNC Turner & Programmer Remuneration Salary- £50,654-£57,319 per annum including late-shift premium Four-day week: Monday-Wednesday 4.30 pm-3.30 am; Thursday 4.30 pm-1.00 am.
Late-shift premium paid at time plus one third. 28 days holiday including
