Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our growing team based in Bedford.
This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of telehandlers and other plant, ensuring timely deliveries while upholding high standards of professionalism and customer service.

Class 1 Driver Job Overview
Operate Class 1 HGV vehicles to deliver and collect telehandlers and various types of plant machinery across designated sites.
Ensure all loads are securely and safely strapped, loaded, and unloaded in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and routine maintenance reporting to ensure roadworthiness and prevent downtime.
Liaise with customers and site personnel to ensure smooth, timely, and professional equipment handovers.
Complete delivery and collection documentation accurately and maintain clear records in line with company procedures.
Class 1 Driver Job Requirements
Experience in a similar position.
Good time keeping skills and self-motivated.
Driver DIGI Card.
LGV Licence category C + CE.
Excellent Customer Service skills.
The ability to speak and write a good standard of English.
Demonstrate a full and varied knowledge of all plant.
In possession of a full, valid Driving Licence with no more than 3 points.
NPORS Card.
An update to date CPC record (evidence will need to be provided).
