Our client is a well-established precision engineering company based in Warrington, Cheshire. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join their skilled machining team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Setting and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls
- Manufacturing precision components to fine tolerances
- Producing short and medium batch work in a variety of materials
- Monitoring product quality using inspection equipment
- Maintaining high standards of accuracy and workmanship
- Progressing work efficiently to meet productivity targets
- Working both independently and as part of the machining team
Position Requirements:
- Must have experience on Mazak machines
- Time served, fully skilled machinist
- Experience operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls
- Strong understanding of geometrical and dimensional tolerances
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Salary & Package:
- Salary DOE £33 - 40k basic
- Time and half overtime rate on top of base
- 4 day working week (Monday - Thursday)
